THE DJ
Marcus “DJ Skippo” Phillips is
originally from Tuscaloosa,
Alabama but currently resides
in Birmingham, Alabama.
Marcus began his career as a
DJ while studying Healthcare
Management at the University
of Alabama at Birmingham in
2012.
During the course of pursuing
his degree, he initiated
opportunities to perfect his
craft by scheduling individuals
for his DJ services for events
and celebrations.

Over the past decade, Marcus

recording artists across the country.
Also, as of recently, he served as
a music director for The World Games
2022 hosted in Birmingham, AL
and The FISU World University
Games 2023 held in Lake Placid, NY.
